Limited Edition NARS cosmetics tend to sell out very quickly, so I felt lucky to be able to get my hands on the True NARS Lip Pencil set.

I got mine for $72AUD at Mecca Cosmetica within the Myer Melbourne store, but they are also available at Mecca Maxima stores and the Mecca site.

 

This set comes with three full size lip pencils; Yu & Luxembourg, from the permanent range and Provocative Red is limited edition. It also comes with a mini sharpener, which I find really handy. The packaging is gorgeous, as I love how vibrant it looks and it has a full sized mirror on the inside, however I do find it is a bit bulky.

This isn’t going to be a full review as I haven’t tried all the colours out yet, but I wanted to share the swatches with you, in case you wanted to get your hands on them whilst you still can. Out of the three, I’m most excited about wearing Provocative Red, as a dark lip is perfect for Winter here in the Melbourne. (I will post photos in the near future on my Instagram account, so make sure to check that out if you wanted to see how they look on me)

I think this is a great set, as you’re getting three full size lip pencils, plus a sharpener for $72AUD. Great value as a NARS lip pencil normally retails for $39AUD each.
