Get your credit cards ready ladies, as Sephora (Australia) website is finally here!
Sephora.com.au transitioned from Luxola.com/au this past Monday (02/Nov/15), and boy, it’s been a long time coming. We now have access to exclusive brands that Sephora stocks, which means; no more asking our boyfriends, friends, cousins, work colleagues, neighbour’s aunty to buy bucket loads of makeup for us from overseas. We are now only a few clicks away from brands that were once unattainable to us. Can I get a HIP HIP HOORAY!!!
Sephora stocks such an amazing range of brands, that I sometimes forget that Sephora has it’s own brand “Sephora Collection”.
So in celebration of Sephora.com.au launch, I will be reviewing a few items from this range.
SEPHORA COLLECTION – MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Contour Trio in Sweet
This is a trio featuring a highlighter, blush, and bronzer to contour and highlight the face perfectly. Pretty much your one stop shop for all things cheek related.
I find that normally in “combo palettes”, you’ll have some duds, but not this one. These babies were all surprisingly good. They were very nicely pigmented, super bendable and made my skin look glowy all day.
I have light to medium complexion and these shades were perfect for me.
Even though I think the packaging is cute, my only point of pain is that, I wish there were dividers in between the shades, as I have to be extra careful when picking up the individual shades. Other then this minor issue, I think this product is great, and something that I will use regularly.
This is available at Sephora.com.au for $29AUD.
SEPHORA COLLECTION – Pro Brush Angled Blush #49
I am a self-confessed blush junkie, but with the incorrect tools, I could end up looking like a clown. Definitely not a look that I’m going for. So when I find a great blush brush, I will continue to use it over and over again.
Currently I am enjoying this synthetic angled brush as it makes applying blush so seamless and easy. I love how soft the bristles feel on my cheeks and find that the angle really hugs the contour of my face for a very precise application. A definitely must have for blush lovers out there.
This is available at Sephora.com.au for $45AUD.
SEPHORA COLLECTION – Pro Brush Airbrush #55
At first, I was a little concerned about using this brush for foundation, as the bristles seemed flimsy and a little bit too soft for a precise application, but I was wrong. I now use this brush to apply my foundation (liquid or/and powder), tinted moisturizer and bb cream, I don’t think there’s anything that this brush can’t do!
Like the Pro Brush Angled Blush #49, I love how soft the bristles feel against my face.
I find that the best way to use this brush is to blend the foundation onto the face by doing small circular motions, as this provides an even flawless natural finish.
This is available at Sephora.com.au for $48AUD.
Both these brushes come with a protection cap, which is super handy for travelling.
However I must point out that these brushes have extra long handles, making them not as convenient to store and will probably not fit into most makeup bags.
Have you tried any of these products before? Will you be shopping at Sephora.com.au? If so, what’s on your shopping list? Let me know in the comments below.
Until we meet again, stay beautiful.

You should try their foundations too! I picked up both powder and liquid while in Singapore a couple of years ago and they’re quote good! DF xoxo

I’m happy Sephora has (kinda) come to Australia but I still think our version is tiny compared to what the Americans get! Hopefully one day we’ll have the same range they do…fingers crossed.
