Guys, I’m back.

So, if you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ll know that my obsession with beautiful walls is undeniable. So much so, that I’ve created a hashtag (#walloree) just to document and share my obsession! I spend a lot of time searching the web for locations around Melbourne, however I’ve noticed that google (for once) didn’t really help! I, then searched Instagram for them, but again, noticed that people weren’t always willing to disclose their locations. But why…? I don’t understand… I always thought sharing was caring???

So, I’m here to disclose the location of some of the most beautiful and colourful walls I’ve come across in Melbourne. I hope that this will help you find locations for your next photoshoot, or #ootd shoot, because let’s be real, we’re all taking photos just for the ‘gram.

• 41 Balmain St, Cremorne

Cremorne is an area in the inner surburbs of Melbourne that has beautiful street art and there’s no denying that this 100 symbol makes a strikingly bold backdrop.

• 220 Victoria St, Richmond

I grew up around Richmond and have always loved the Vietnamese culture that Victoria St brings. This Ox looks like it was drawn on with a black marker, which adds to it’s coolness.

• 30 Degraves Street, Melbourne

Melbourne laneways have always been marked with beautiful graffiti and artwork. This piece here along Degraves Street is so vibrant and beautiful.

• 238 George St, Fitzroy

Fitzroy, one of the best suburbs to chill around and home to my favourite cafe! I love how beautiful and unique this wall is, plus on the side, the layout is completely different.

• 81 Waverley Rd, Malvern East

I am FOREVER in search of pink walls. Pink is one of my favourite colours and I always gravitate towards it. This wall here has been the best one I’ve found so far…

• 280 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne

This wall here is on the side of a beautiful double storey house in South Melbourne, oh I wish I lived there.

• 248 Swan St, Richmond

Well, there’s nothing “simple” about this wall. I love how it’s fun, bold and just overall amazing.

• 218 Gertrude St, Fitzroy

Sometimes you just can’t beat a beautifully painted purple wall.

• 4 Wood Street, Fitzroy

At a glance, this wall looks fun and playful, but upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that the cat and teddy are both flawed and imperfect. I think that in itself makes this wall perfect.

• 317 Coventry St, South Melbourne

This is only a fraction of this beautiful wall. It says Finer Flavour. I like the texture and how the colours work so well together.

I know this list might be a bit controversial as I haven’t mentioned any of the graffiti laneways in Melbourne such as Hosier Lane. The reason is that those laneways are forever changing and so well known already, you don’t need me to list them here!
