My curiosity for natural skincare started when I discovered that most of our face scrubs contained plastic micro beads and were causing havoc to our environment and marine life. I haven’t done a favourites post in a while and I thought I would do a “Quarter 1 2016” favourites, broken down into three parts.
1. Skincare & Bodycare
2. Nailcare & Haircare
3. Makeup & Other
Why three parts? Because there’s going to be a lot of products in each category and I didn’t want the post to be extremely long (win win for everyone).
As I get older, I try to make a conscious decision to take better care of my skin, this includes my best attempts to eliminate unnecessary chemicals from products I use. So, for my skincare and bodycare, I try to use natural products where possible. However sometimes, I haven’t found an option that has completely won me over, so I use “mainstream” products.
